Banana Carmel Waffle with Home made Granola and Carmel Salted Ice Cream. -Portland OR. I highly recommend going there!
We happened to visit/ stumble across Bottega Louie in downtown LA, while at AX15. First off this place was clean and beautiful; and that applies to the many treats as well as the interior architecture. Second, all the staff were super nice and proper. Third, these were the best Macaroons I have ever had. They were fresh (made daily), with all natural ingredients (pieces of fruit in the filling) and works of art. Everything in this bakery/ cafe was a work of art.
If you are in LA or live in LA you should DEFINITELY try MILK at least once. All the desserts that they make are visually pleasing and taste as good as they look.
A small food truck tucked away behind a super market, yet it is probably the most well known food truck in LA. Ricky's Fish Tacos are amazing, so good that we all went back for seconds. Get the fish and shrimp, trust me.
These lovely Japanese Sweets come from Tamon Tea in Berkeley CA. If you want something new and have never had any Wagashi I highly recommend this new place.
Personally I find these to be the best Tacos (and burritos) in the Bay, from Tacos El Autlense. I always go for the Carnitas. They cook it just right, soft middle, crunchy top and with a little bit of fat for extra flavor. On top of that the sauce and salsa that covers these tasty tacos has a nice kick. These are a must have for all locals!
